To catch everyone up to speed this is what is going on with us. Joshua just turned a year old February 20! It's absolutely amazing how fast he's growing! He didn't care much for his cake, but he had a fun time at his party.
About 7 weeks ago Joshua was diagnosed with low muscle tone. He has been in physical therapy for almost 6 weeks now and is making amazing progress! We thank the Lord so much for how Joshua is improving. He went from sitting while keeping his body in the center of gravity (not leaning over much for anything) to army crawling to starting to crawl on all 4's and now pulling up on his knees! We are so proud of Joshua!
Joshua also got his first tooth today!!! He has been teething like crazy FOREVER, so I'm glad to feel that tooth finally pop through. I imagine a 2nd one will not be far behind.
Rebekah is growing by leaps and bounds as well. She is just shooting up like an arrow - so tall and thin - and she is really maturing. Her tantrums seem much more spread apart, and she is learning to use her manners more. It has really been fun watching her grow.
Preschool is doing Rebekah a world of good. She loves to go to preschool, and she is improving so much with her speech and language skills! Not only that, but she is making new friends and learning new things.
Rebekah is still fascinated with spelling. She will ask how to spell all sorts of words, and one of her favorite things to ask is "What does _______ start with letter?" Although grammatically, the question is turned around she just takes the statement, "__________ starts with the letter __" and adds "What" to the beginning to make it a question.
Here is a cute picture of Rebekah. I just love how she posed for the camera!
So that is the basic update on how the kids are doing. Darrin is busy with work as usual. He has had to work a lot of overtime lately and is now on a business trip for a few days. I am looking forward to him coming home. I always miss him when he's gone. I am staying very busy with the kids doing our daily activities, and hopefully this blog will help me keep a journal of the in's and out's of what we do as well as to keep you all posted on how we are all doing.
God bless you all!
