A friend of mine, Becky, had her baby boy Wesley Alan! He was born Friday, July 11 at 7:45AM. He was 8lbs. 13oz. and 20 inches long. Isn't he beautiful?!
Rebekah wanted to go to the hospital with me to visit baby Wesley, and it was really interesting to see her around a newborn again. She is so much more mature than she was 16 months ago when Joshua was born. She sat with me and helped me hold the baby.
I think Rebekah was hoping to see her friend Max, Wesley's big brother, but she told me that she liked the baby.
I promise I don't have the baby bug...but this is why I just felt uneasy about last Friday's surgery. Poor Darrin! He would have the "deer in the headlights" look if we had another, though.
