Thanksgiving with Family

Thanksgiving Day was absolutely gorgeous out! I couldn't resist taking the kids outside to run around and play, and while they had fun I tried to capture them on camera. Rebekah was pretty fast running all over the place while Joshua took his time walking on various textures, particularly going from one to another (i.e. driveway to yard).

Look at those curls!

Joshua went down for a late nap and didn't rest well, so Darrin snuggled with him and Joshua fell back to sleep. These opportunities don't happen much anymore.

Rebekah REALLY wanted to join them on the couch, but I got her to agree to a palette on the floor. She is totally playing possum here.

On Friday we left Columbia to head back home, but we spent the day at my parents' house where my sister Carrie, Daniel, and Taylor were visiting for a couple of days. It was fun watching the kids together. Rebekah was glad to play with her cousin, although Taylor still does her own thing, but she did follow Rebekah around a lot. It's so cute to watch how much Taylor looks up to her big cousin. Joshua seemed to really like having someone his own age to play with as well.

So, that's my Thanksgiving update. We had a really great time with both sides of the family last week. Nothing like good food, fun, and family for the holidays!
