Steven Curtis Chapman is a long-time favorite Christian artist of mine. He is an amazing songwriter and singer, and he places his first priority on the Lord, his wife, then his kids. His family is so important to him, and he has written many beautiful songs about them. His latest song about his girls is called "Cinderella", which is the new "Butterfly Kisses". If you haven't heard the song check it out!



This song was inspired by Chapman's two youngest daughters, adopted from China. Maria, the five-year-old was accidently struck in a car accident by her teenage brother and killed Wednesday evening. Read Steven Curtis Chapman's blog for more details.

Please pray for the entire Chapman family as well as the brother who struck Maria. He must be experiencing tremendous guilt. Emily, the oldest daughter, was just engaged this past weekend, so the family is experiencing great grief in the midst of celebration.
