Following graduation we headed home to pack for our weekend trip to Darrin's mom's house. My parents had joined us for the graduation program, and Rebekah was so upset about having to leave them, but once I reminded her that we were going to see Grandy she was very excited. We were there Friday evening through Sunday morning.
Joshua lost quite a bit of sleep over the weekend. Due to the hour time difference the kids didn't go to bed until later, especially since it got dark later, and we didn't have black-out shades to darken the bedrooms. Rebekah went down to bed easily, but Joshua struggled. He also woke up bright and early each morning and his naps were significantly shorter all three days, Friday through Sunday. He ended up sleeping in Monday morning as a result, but he's back on schedule now.
The kids had so much fun with their Grandy, and she really enjoyed their company!

The neighbors next door had some beautiful flowers blooming, including tiger lilies. Of course, I just had to show the lilies to Rebekah!
And some peonies were growing in the flower bed as well.
Darrin gave Joshua a piggy-back ride while racing Rebekah down the hallway. What a great dad he is!
Finally, here is a picture of Joshua and Rebekah that Rebekah drew while at Grandy's. She has been spending a great deal of time writing and drawing lately. She has just recently started drawing girls with a triangle and boys with a square.
