Date with Mommy

Last Saturday I spent the entire afternoon and evening with Rebekah. My mom took us to see "Cinderella" the musical for the matinee then I took Rebekah to The Little Gym for a birthday party for one of her friends at preschool.

We were prohibited from taking any photography at all, but we got some shots with some of the characters after the performance. Here Rebekah stands with one of the chorus members. Lara goes to our church and works with the Cubbies class of children that are a few months younger than Rebekah. Her mother made her dress!


We finally got to see Cinderella make her entrance with the prince.

Both the characters who played Cinderella and the prince signed Rebekah's program, and when we got to the end of the line we met the stepsisters. Rebekah gave them this look that was so hilarious, but it is hard for me to explain. She just glared at them and pulled her body away from them. They tried to be silly and show her they are nice in real life, but she was convinced they were really mean.

Following a bite to eat and a change of clothes we headed to the birthday party. Rebekah had an absolute blast!

After we left the party Rebekah asked if we could go back and see "Cinderella" again. Oh, my! I think she enjoyed her big date out with Mommy.
